The Pre-Existing Condition is a traveling group art show to benefit Type One Diabetes Research, curated by Curated by Zoey Stevens and Dereck Cruz.

I am feel very humble to be part of this amazing project that does so much for the diabetes community.

“Each artist offers their perspective of the disease known as Type One Diabetes. The show's goal is to raise both awareness about the disease and raise funds to help further research. Artists include Anthony Ausgang, Sean Brannan, Joshua Ellingson, The Molten Brothers, Shepard Fairey, KRK Ryden, Ryan Boyle, Big Toe, David Stoupakis, Lucia Jurado, Paul Torres, Zoey Stevens and more.”

Show will open for first Fridays Pravus Gallery, right in downtown Phoenix. But since April has been traveling from LA to the Whittier Diabetes Institute in San Diego, and will hopefully come to San Francisco. Each time new art and new perspectives join the message, generating more buzz, awareness and money for research. Everyone wins. It is amazing, really!

I have to hurry up and create something new for the show since the two pieces I sent were sold… yeahh ;)
